     James Thomas Butler was born on 6 June 1825.1 He was the son of James Butler and Maria Charlton.2 He married Adelaide Maria K'Eogh, daughter of G. R. K'Eogh, on 2 August 1859.1 He died on 20 July 1910 at age 85.1
     James Thomas Butler held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Carlow.1 He held the office of Resident Magistrate (R.M.) for County Kilkenny.1

     Charles Richard Butler was born on 21 June 1860.1 He was the son of James Thomas Butler and Adelaide Maria K'Eogh.2 He married Ethel Elizabeth Jane Newton, daughter of Philip Charles Newton and Mary Garrett Bathe, in 1895, with issue.3 He died on 20 October 1932 at age 72.1
     Charles Richard Butler held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1920.1

     Philip Charles Newton was born on 10 September 1837.1 He is the son of Henry Newton and Elizabeth Jane Doyne.1 He married, firstly, Mary Garrett Bathe, daughter of Colonel John William Bathe, on 1 August 1864.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Skelton, daughter of George Hougham Skelton, on 24 October 1891.1 He died on 23 February 1902 at age 64.1
     Philip Charles Newton held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1869.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.2 He lived at Mount Leinster, Borris, County Carlow, Ireland.1
