     Major-Gen. Joseph Lyon Barrow was born in 1812.1 He was the son of Simon Barrow and Tryphina Esther de Symons.1 He married Alicia Egan, daughter of Colonel Kingston Egan, in 1847.1 He married Emily McMaster.1 He died in 1890.1
     Major-Gen. Joseph Lyon Barrow was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.1

     Major-Gen. Lousada Barrow was born in 1816.1 He was the son of Simon Barrow and Tryphina Esther de Symons.1 He married Piercy Macdonald, with other issue.1 He died on 1 October 1877.1
     Major-Gen. Lousada Barrow was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He was to play a prominent part in the relief at Lucknow, India, and is commerorated by a statue there.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Indian Army.1 He was the Chief Commissioner of Oudh, India.1

     Piercy Macdonald was born on 24 October 1822.1 She married Major-Gen. Lousada Barrow, son of Simon Barrow and Tryphina Esther de Symons, with other issue.1 She died on 22 May 1905 at age 82.1

     Rose Elinor Barrow was the daughter of Major-Gen. Lousada Barrow and Piercy Macdonald.1 She married Colonel Herbert George Deedes, son of William Deedes, on 5 December 1870.1 She died on 17 December 1940.1
     From 5 December 1870, her married name became Deedes.1 She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1
