     Reverend William Woolsey was born circa 1750.1 He was the son of John Woolsey and Lucy Palmer.1 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Bellingham, daughter of Colonel Alan Bellingham, in May 1777.1 He married, secondly, unknown (?).1 He died in September 1832.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 61st Regiment.1 He was the Rector in 1794 at Kilsaran Castle, Castlebellingham, County Louth, Ireland.1 He lived at Priorland House, Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.1
