     Nathaniel Barton was born on 7 September 1799.1 He was the son of Hugh Barton and Anne Johnston.1 He married Mary Susanna Scott, daughter of Harry Harmood Scott and Anne Ogle, on 12 July 1823.1 He died on 29 November 1867 at age 68.1
     Nathaniel Barton held the office of High Sheriff in 1850.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Straffan House, Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland.1

Anna Emily Massey, daughter of Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Susan Elizabeth Barton, on 18 April 1855 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 23 February 1899 at age 74.1
     Major Hugh Lynedoch Barton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 6th Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Kildare Rifles.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1861.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Straffan House, Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland.1
