     Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt. was baptised on 4 December 1691.2 He was the son of John Grey and unknown Pearson.2,3 He married Hannah Wood, daughter of Thomas Wood, on 19 April 1720.2 He died circa May 1749.2 He was buried on 6 May 1749 at Howick, Northumberland, England.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland in 1736.3 He was created 1st Baronet Grey, of Howick, co. Northumberland [Great Britain] on 11 January 1745/46.1,3

     Hannah Wood was the daughter of Thomas Wood.1 She married Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt., son of John Grey and unknown Pearson, on 19 April 1720.2 She died circa July 1764.2 She was buried on 19 July 1764 at Howick, Northumberland, England.2
      From 19 April 1720, her married name became Grey.1
