     Colonel Henry Townsend Butcher was the son of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Butcher.2 He married Anne Susan Dalrymple-Hay, daughter of Colonel George James Dalrymple-Hay and Amelia Emily Maitland, on 22 November 1880.1 He died on 20 September 1915 at France, killed in action.3
     Colonel Henry Townsend Butcher fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Brigade Commander in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.1

     John Charles Houston Dalrymple-Hay was born on 7 July 1890.1 He was the son of James Stewart Dalrymple-Hay and Emily Irving.2 He married, firstly, Vera May Earl, daughter of William Earl, on 10 September 1921.1 He and Vera May Earl were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Coral Elizabeth Coats, daughter of William Henry Richards Coats, on 28 November 1946.1 He died on 31 July 1960 at age 70.1
     John Charles Houston Dalrymple-Hay was a District Forester in Forestry Commission of New South Wales.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Australian Imperial Forces.1
