     Richard Tycho Dalrymple-Hay was born on 3 October 1861.1 He was the son of Houston Stewart Dalrymple-Hay and Mary Louisa King.2 He married Bessie Cheesbrough, daughter of J. W. Cheesbrough, on 22 December 1888.1 He died on 9 December 1943 at age 82.1
     Richard Tycho Dalrymple-Hay was Commissioner of Forests, New South Wales before 1926.1

     Charles Stewart Dalrymple-Hay was born on 13 October 1891.1 He was the son of Richard Tycho Dalrymple-Hay and Bessie Cheesbrough.2 He married Barbara Chambers, daughter of Warwick Chambers, in 1922.1 He died in 1972.1
     Charles Stewart Dalrymple-Hay fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Australian Artillery.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1
