     He lived at Waterville, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

     He was educated at Trent College, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars and Pioneer Corps.1 He lived at The Precincts, Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland.1
