     Major Hugh Wray Biddulph was born on 12 November 1866 at Longhoo.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Edward Biddulph and Annabella Kennedy.2 He married Violet Martyn, daughter of John Gregory Martyn, in November 1903.2 He died on 31 March 1943 at age 76.2
     Major Hugh Wray Biddulph gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion Connaught Rangers.2
