     Violet Martyn was the daughter of John Gregory Martyn.1 She married Major Hugh Wray Biddulph, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Edward Biddulph and Annabella Kennedy, in November 1903.1 She died on 17 September 1967, aged 90.1
     From November 1903, her married name became Biddulph.1
