     Sir William Richard Powlett-Geary, Bt. married Louisa Bruce, daughter of Hon. Charles Andrew Bruce and Charlotte Sophia Dashwood, on 14 July 1835.¹

     Hon. James Bruce was born on 23 March 1769.¹ He was the son of Charles Bruce, 9th Earl of Kincardine and Martha Whyte.¹ He died on 10 July 1798 at age 29 at Barnbydown, Yorkshire, England, drowned while crossing the Don.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlborough.¹

     Lady Charlotte Bruce was the daughter of Charles Bruce, 9th Earl of Kincardine and Martha Whyte.¹ She married Admiral Sir Philip Charles Durham in 1799.¹ She died in 1816.¹
      From 1799, her married name became Durham.¹
