     Nicholas Loftus was born in 1592.1 He was the son of Sir Dudley Loftus and Anne Bagenal.2 He married Margaret Chetham, daughter of Thomas Chetham, in 1623.1 He died in 1666.1
     Nicholas Loftus was Joint-Clerk of Pells and the Treasury of Ireland.1 He lived at Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
