     Mary Aylward was the daughter of Nugent Sylvester Aylward.1 She married, firstly, Edmond Blake, son of Martin Blake and Bridget Joyce, in 1780.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Blake, son of Andrew Blake and Honoria Burke, in March 1789.1
     From 1780, her married name became Blake.1

     Lt.-Col. John Blake was the son of Andrew Blake and Honoria Burke.2 He married, firstly, Mary Aylward, daughter of Nugent Sylvester Aylward, in March 1789.1 He married, secondly, Maria Galway, daughter of Edmond Galway, in 1797.2 He died on 18 October 1836.2
     Lt.-Col. John Blake held the office of Mayor of Galway in 1830.2 He lived at Furbough, Barna, County Galway, Ireland.1
