     Andrew William Blake was born on 22 August 1798.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Blake and Maria Galway.1 He married Maria Julia Daly, daughter of Malachy Daly and Julia Burke, on 22 September 1832.1 He died in 1868.1
     Andrew William Blake held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1841.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He lived at Furbough, Barna, County Galway, Ireland.1

     Maria Julia Daly was the daughter of Malachy Daly and Julia Burke.1,2 She married Andrew William Blake, son of Lt.-Col. John Blake and Maria Galway, on 22 September 1832.1

     Colonel John Archer Daly was born on 11 January 1835.1 He was the son of Andrew William Blake and Maria Julia Daly.1 He married Lady Anne Elizabeth Charlotte Nugent, daughter of Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath, on 30 April 1864.1 He died on 13 June 1917 at age 82.1
     Colonel John Archer Daly was born with the name of John Archer Blake.1 On 24 April 1837 his name was legally changed to John Archer Daly when he assumed the surname and arms of Daly by Royal Licence in compliance with the testamentary injunction of his maternal great-uncle Hyacinth Daly, of Raford.1 He was the Colonel Commanding Officer of the 4th Battalion of the Connaught Rangers.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1866.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Raford, Kiltullagh, County Galway, Ireland,1 and at Furbough, Barna, County Galway, Ireland.1

     Lady Anne Elizabeth Charlotte Nugent was the daughter of Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath.2,1 She married Colonel John Archer Daly, son of Andrew William Blake and Maria Julia Daly, on 30 April 1864.1 She died on 1 December 1906.1
     From 30 April 1864, her married name became Daly.1
