Hon. Elizabeth Frederica Blake was born on 26 February 1827.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Henry Blake, 3rd Baron Wallscourt and Elizabeth Lock.1 She married General Hon. Arthur Upton, son of John Henry Upton, 1st Viscount Templetown, on 17 July 1866 in a childless marriage.2
