Major Robert Blakeney was the son of Thomas Blakeney and Sarah Hatton.1 He married, firstly, Martha Bolton, daughter of unknown Corty.2 He married, secondly, Susannah Ormsby, daughter of Captain Edward Ormsby.2 His will (dated 10 February 1658) was probated on 6 July 1660.2
Major Robert Blakeney gained the rank of Major in the service of the Sir Charles Coote's Regiment of Dragoons.2 He was granted Gallagh, County Galway, and lands in Counties Mayo and Kilkenny by Cromwell for his military services.2 He lived at Castle Gallagh, County Galway, Ireland, also called Castle Blakeney.2

Lieutenant William Blakeney was the son of Thomas Blakeney and Sarah Hatton.1 He died on 31 March 1664.1 He was buried at St. Peter's Church, Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland, where the Norfolk Blakeneys', (from whom this family traditionally claim descent), coat-of-arms is displayed on his tomb.1
Lieutenant William Blakeney gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Army.1 He granted lands in County Limerick, Ireland, by Cromwell, which were confirmed to his elder son by King Charles II by Letters Patent 16 February 1666.1 He lived at Mount Blakeney1 and at Thomastown, County Limerick, Ireland.1

Amelia Hume was born on 23 January 1772.1 She was the daughter of Sir Abraham Hume, 2nd Bt. and Lady Amelia Egerton.1 She married Charles Long, 1st Baron Farnborough of Bromley Hill Place, son of Beeston Long and Sarah Cropp, on 28 May 1793 at Berkeley Square, London, England.1 She died on 15 January 1837 at age 64.1
