     Admiral John Scott Luard was born in 1865.2 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Richard George Amherst Luard and Hannah Chamberlin.2,3 He married Constance Nora Wells, daughter of Admiral Sir Richard Wells and Augusta Jane Norman, in 1903.2 He died in 1936.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at Warblington Lodge, Havant, Hampshire, EnglandG.1

     Colonel John Bland was the son of Thomas Bland and unknown Trydelt.1 He died in 1728, without issue.1
     He purchased the lands of Rahinavannagh, Abbeyleix, County Laois, IrelandG, which he renamed to Blandsfort1 and built a mansion house there in 1715.1 His last will was dated 14 June 1728, he devised Blandsfort to his brother Humphrey and his heirs, or in default to William and his heirs.1

     General Humphrey Bland was the son of Thomas Bland and unknown Trydelt.1 He married Elizabeth Dalrymple, daughter of Hon. George Dalrymple, in a childless marriage.1 He died on 8 May 1763.1
     He was Quartermaster-General (Q.M.G.) in 1742.1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden, as the Major-General.1 He held the office of Governor of Gibraltar in 1749.1 He was Colonel of the 1st Dragoon Guards.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of Scotland between 1752 and 1763.1 He lived at Blandsfort, Abbeyleix, County Laois, IrelandG.1

     Captain William Bland was the son of Thomas Bland and unknown Trydelt.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Elizabeth Jones Cock was made on 14 September 1720 (an unknown value.)1 He and Letitia Davis obtained a marriage license on 28 November 1732.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Letitia Davis was made on 8 November 1732.1 He died in 1746.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Dragoons.1
