     John Bland was born in 1723.1 He was the son of Captain William Bland and Elizabeth Jones (alias Horseman) Cock.1 He married Sarah Birch, daughter of Charles Birch, in 1763.1 He died in 1790.1
     John Bland lived at Blandsfort, Abbeyleix, County Laois, Ireland.1

     Letitia Davis was the daughter of Colonel Hercules Davis.1 She and Captain William Bland obtained a marriage license on 28 November 1732, (this was his second marriage).1 A settlement for the marriage between her and Captain William Bland was made on 8 November 1732.1
     From 28 November 1732, her married name became Bland.1

     Captain Humphrey Bland was the son of Captain William Bland and Letitia Davis.1 He married Mary Matthews, daughter of Edward Matthews, in 1763.1 He died in 1788.1
     Captain Humphrey Bland gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 62nd Regiment.1
