     Captain Robert Wyndham Humphrey Marciel Bland was born on 27 January 1872.1 He was the son of John Humphrey Bland and Emily Charlotte Madden.1 He married Mildred Dorothea Mordaunt, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Sparrow Mordaunt and Harriet Theresa Gibbs, in June 1915.1 He died on 18 July 1942 at age 70.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Regiment Royal Irish Rifles.1

Mildred Dorothea Mordaunt1

     Mildred Dorothea Mordaunt was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James Sparrow Mordaunt and Harriet Theresa Gibbs.2 She married Captain Robert Wyndham Humphrey Marciel Bland, son of John Humphrey Bland and Emily Charlotte Madden, in June 1915.3 She died on 23 March 1949, without issue.1
     From June 1915, her married name became Bland.3

     Eva Charlotte Alice Bland was born on 10 November 1868.1 She was the daughter of John Humphrey Bland and Emily Charlotte Madden.1 She married George Lucas Blackey Borton, son of Captain Henry Borton, on 30 November 1911 in a childless marriage.1 She died in 1933.1
     From 30 November 1911, her married name became Borton.1

     Lilian Emily Bland was born on 28 September 1878.1 She was the daughter of John Humphrey Bland and Emily Charlotte Madden.1 She married Lieutenant Charles Loftus Bland, son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Loftus Bland and Emma Frances Franks, on 3 October 1911.1,2 She died on 11 May 1971 at age 92.1
     She was a pioneer aviatrix, she was the first woman to build and fly an aeroplane the in British Isles. She used whiskey poured through the ear trumpet of her aunt to feed the engine on the maiden flight of her plane, the Mayfly, in 1910.1 She was a landscape gardener.1

     Lieutenant Charles Loftus Bland was born on 21 October 1881.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Loftus Bland and Emma Frances Franks.2 He married Lilian Emily Bland, daughter of John Humphrey Bland and Emily Charlotte Madden, on 3 October 1911.1,3 He died on 6 January 1973 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He retired from the military, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the Royal Artillery, after contracting sunstroke at Hong Kong, ChinaG, in 1903.2 He emigrated to CanadaG.2 He and Mary Madden were associated she was his wife's cousin.2 He lived at Quatsino, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaG.2

     Maj.-Gen. Edward Loftus Bland was born on 10 December 1829.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert Wintringham Bland and Alicia Evans.1 He married Emma Frances Franks, daughter of Robert Fergusson Franks and Henrietta Bushe, on 4 January 1859.1 He died on 26 February 1923 at age 93.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.1 He lived at Woodbank, White Abbey, County Antrim, IrelandG.1

     From 4 January 1859, her married name became Bland.1
