Edmund Gerald Dease was born on 6 September 1829.1 He was the son of Gerald Dease and Elizabeth O'Callaghan.1 He married Mary Grattan, daughter of Henry Grattan, on 21 June 1859.1 He died on 17 July 1904 at age 74.1

Col. Sir Gerald Richard Dease was born on 7 July 1831.1 He was the son of Gerald Dease and Elizabeth O'Callaghan.1 He married Emily Throckmorton, daughter of Sir Robert George Throckmorton, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth Acton, on 25 November 1863.1 He died on 18 October 1903 at age 72.1
Col. Sir Gerald Richard Dease was educated at Stonyhurst College, Clitheroe, Lancashire, England.1 He gained the rank of honorary Colonel in the service of the 4th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Counties Kildare and Meath.1 He was a Director, Great Southern & Western Railway.1 He was a Director, E. & J. Burke, Ltd.1 He was a Director, Bank of Ireland, the Governor between 1890 and 1892.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1897.1 He was Chamberlain to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.1 He lived at Celbridge Abbey, Kildrought, County Kildare, Ireland.1
