     Arthur Joseph Dease was born on 2 December 1871.1 He was the son of Col. Sir Gerald Richard Dease and Emily Throckmorton.1 He married Alison Purves Smith, daughter of William Smith, in November 1917.1 He died on 13 March 1965 at age 93.1

     Major Gerald Dease was born on 8 August 1854.2 He was the son of James Arthur Dease and Charlotte Jerningham.1 He married Florence Helen Marley, daughter of George Marley, on 3 June 1896 in a childless marriage.2 He died on 22 October 1934 at age 80.2
     Major Gerald Dease gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Fusiliers.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cavan in 1899.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Counties Westmeath and Cavan.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1909.2 He was a Commissioner of National Education.2 He lived at Turbotston, Mayne, County Westmeath, Ireland.2
