Major Hon. James Archibald Crichton was born on 8 December 1877.1 He was the son of Sir John Henry Crichton, 4th Earl Erne of Crom Castle and Lady Florence Mary Cole.1 He died on 3 August 1956 at age 78, unmarried.1
