     Mary Rice was the daughter of Edward Rice.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. William Degge.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Blennerhassett, son of Robert Blennerhassett and Alice Osborne, in 1743 in a childless marriage.1
     Her married name became Degge.1 From 1743, her married name became Blennerhassett.1
