Mary Lechmere1

     Mary Lechmere was born on 2 April 1791.2 She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral William Lechmere and Elizabeth Dashwood-King.2 She married Reverend James Saumarez, 2nd Baron de Saumarez, son of Admiral James Saumarez, 1st Baron de Saumarez and Martha Le Marchant, on 5 October 1814.1 She died on 12 May 1849 at age 58.2
     From 5 October 1814, her married name became Saumarez. After her marriage, Mary Lechmere was styled as Baroness de Saumarez on 9 October 1836.

Thomas Le Marchant Saumarez1

     Thomas Le Marchant Saumarez was baptised on 2 September 1799 at East Teingmouth, Devon, England.2 He was the son of Admiral James Saumarez, 1st Baron de Saumarez and Martha Le Marchant.3 He was also reported to have been born on 30 October 1803.1 He married Catherine Spencer Alicia Beresford Vassall, daughter of Lt.-Col. Spencer Thomas Vassall and Catherina Brandreth Backhouse Evans, on 1 October 1829.1 He died on 4 July 1834 at age 34 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1,2

     Lt.-Col. Spencer Thomas Vassall was born on 7 April 1764 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.2 He married Catherina Brandreth Backhouse Evans on 30 June 1795.2,3 He died on 7 February 1807 at age 42 at Montevideo, Uruguay.3

     Catherine Spencer Alicia Beresford Vassall was born on 3 February 1806.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Spencer Thomas Vassall and Catherina Brandreth Backhouse Evans.3,2 She was baptised on 26 June 1810 at St. Paul's, Bristol, England.4 She married, firstly, Thomas Le Marchant Saumarez, son of Admiral James Saumarez, 1st Baron de Saumarez and Martha Le Marchant, on 1 October 1829.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Eardley Wilmot Marshall on 8 February 1841.1 She died in 1877 at Kent, England.2
     From 1 October 1829, her married name became Saumarez. From 8 February 1841, her married name became Marshall.1

Mary Boyle1

     Mary Boyle was the daughter of Most Rev. Michael Boyle.1 She married Very Rev. Samuel Synge, son of Rt. Rev. Edward Synge and Barbara Latham, in 1678.1 She died circa April 1710.1 She was buried on 1 May 1710.1
     From 1678, her married name became Synge.1

James St. Vincent Saumarez, 4th Baron Saumarez1

     James St. Vincent Saumarez, 4th Baron Saumarez was born on 17 July 1843.1 He was the son of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes.2 He married Jane Anne Vere-Broke, daughter of Captain Charles Acton Vere-Broke and Anna Maria Hamilton, on 10 October 1882.1 He died on 25 April 1937 at age 93.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.1 He was in the Diplomatic Service between 1867 and 1883.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Saumarez, in the Island of Guernsey [U.K., 1801] on 8 January 1881.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron de Saumarez, in the Island of Guernsey [U.K., 1831] on 8 January 1881.1
