John la Zouche, 8th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth)1

     John la Zouche, 8th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth) was born circa 1486.1 He was the son of John la Zouche, 7th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Joan Dinham.1,2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Capell, daughter of Sir William Capell and Margaret Arundell.1 He married, secondly, Susan Welby, daughter of William Welby, before 8 October 1527.2 He died on 10 August 1550.1
     He held the office of Lieutenant of Selwood Forest.2 He was invested as a Knight in 1513.2 He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Saint Maur [E., 1314] circa March 1526, de jure.2 He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Lovel, of Castle Cary circa March 1526, de jure.2 He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Zouche, of Haryngworth [E., 1308] circa March 1525/26.2
