     John Carew was born in 1466.1 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Carew and Elizabeth Croker.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Croker, daughter of Sir John Croker the younger.1 He married, secondly, Katharine la Zouche, daughter of John la Zouche, 7th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth), in 1498.1 He died on 18 July 1503.1
     John Carew lived at Haccombe, Devon, England.1
