     Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt. was born on 12 July 1776.2 He was the son of John McMahon and Mary Stacpoole.1 He married, firstly, Frances Burston, daughter of Beresford Burston, on 16 May 1807.2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Shaw, daughter of unknown Shaw, on 9 September 1814.3 He died in 1837.3
     Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt. was a practising barrister.2 He held the office of Master of the Rolls [Ireland].2 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.).2 He was created 1st Baronet McMahon, of Dublin [U.K.] on 6 May 1815.2

     William Stacpoole was the son of John Stacpoole and Barbara Stacpoole.1 He died on 17 January 1844, unmarried.1
     He was a party to lawsuits involving the esate of his mother's uncle, John Stacpoole.1 He lived at Cloghernatiny, County Clare, Ireland.1

     George William Stacpoole was born on 20 March 1774.1 He was the son of William Stacpoole and Dorothea Burton.1 He died in 1822, unmarried.1
     George William Stacpoole was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1792.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1

     Dorothea Griffin was the daughter of Richard Griffin.1 She married John Stacpoole, son of John Stacpoole and Catherine Connolly, on 30 November 1800.1 She died on 3 April 1802.1
     From 30 November 1800, her married name became Stacpoole.1
