     John Townshend was the son of Richard Townshend and Elizabeth Becher.1 He married Mary Morris, daughter of Jonas Morris and Mary Townshend, in 1769.1 He died on 4 August 1810.1
     John Townshend held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Ireland].1 He lived at Shepperton, County Cork, Ireland.1
