     Captain George Robert Stoney was born in 1775.1 He was the son of George Stoney and Eliza Johnston.1 He married Johanna Ellis, daughter of General unknown Ellis, in 1801.1 He died on 8 October 1808, without issue.1
     Captain George Robert Stoney gained the rank of Captain in the service of the British Army.1
