     James Stoney was born on 13 May 1814.1 He was the son of Richard Falkiner Stoney and Jane Butler.1,2 He married Mary Frances Elwood, daughter of Robert Elwood and Anna Jane Vesey, in 1838.1 He died on 1 May 1897 at age 82.1

     James Johnstone Stoney was born in November 1790.1 He was the son of Thomas Stoney and Ruth Falkiner.1,2 He married Elizabeth Lucia Minchin, daughter of Reverend William Minchin and Mary Anne Wright, in 1845.1 He died on 3 August 1849 at age 58.1
