     George Stoney was born on 11 August 1713.2 He was the son of Thomas Stoney and Sarah Robinson.2 He married Eliza Johnston, daughter of Captain James Johnston, on 14 January 1745.2 He died in 1787.2
     George Stoney lived at Portland, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Greyfort, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
