     Thomas Ramsay Stoney was born on 9 July 1882.1 He was the son of Major George Ormond Stoney and Meylia Laing.1 He married Dorothy Agnes Sheepshanks, daughter of Reverend Thomas Sheepshanks, on 18 April 1917.1 He died on 10 April 1918 at age 35 at France, killed in action, without issue.1
