     Colonel John Blood-Smyth was born in 1829.1 He was the son of William Blood-Smyth and Anne Massy.1 He married Amelia Spaight, daughter of Francis Spaight, in September 1860.1 He died on 21 January 1884.1

     Amelia Spaight was the daughter of Francis Spaight.1 She married Colonel John Blood-Smyth, son of William Blood-Smyth and Anne Massy, in September 1860.1 She died on 12 August 1912.1
     Amelia Spaight also went by the nick-name of Minnie.1 From September 1860, her married name became Blood-Smyth.1
