     Amelia Spaight was the daughter of Francis Spaight and Agnes Paterson.1,2 She married John Blood-Smyth, son of William Blood-Smyth and Anne Massy, in September 1860.1 She died on 12 August 1912.1
      Amelia Spaight also went by the nick-name of Minnie.1 From September 1860, her married name became Blood-Smyth.1

     Francis Spaight was born on 24 June 1790.2 He was the son of Captain William Spaight and Millicent Anne Studdert.3 He married Agnes Paterson, daughter of James Paterson, in 1812.2 He died on 16 February 1861 at age 70.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Derry Castle, Templeachally, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
