     Ruth Mackintosh is the daughter of G. W. Mackintosh.1 She married Gerald Johnstone Percy Lipyeatt Stoney, son of Edward Bowes Stoney and Elizabeth Patterson-Hunter, in 1942.1
     From 1942, her married name became Stoney.1
