     Brampton Gurdon is the son of John Gurdon and Amy Brampton.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Barrett, daughter of Edward Barrett.1 He married, secondly, Muriel Sedley, daughter of Martyn Sedley and unknown daughter Knyvett.1
     Brampton Gurdon held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury.1 By his first wife, he was ancestor of the Gurdons of Assington.1 He lived at Assington Hall, England.1 He lived at Letton, Norfolk, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1629.1

     Brampton Gurdon was the son of Brampton Gurdon and Muriel Sedley.2 He married Mary Polsted, daughter of Henry Polsted.1 He died in 1669.1
     Brampton Gurdon fought in the Siege of Colchester.1 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury between 1640 and 1654.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Regiment of Horse.1 He fought in the Battle of Naseby on 14 June 1645.1 He was on the court-martial on Sir Charles Lucas and Sir George Lisle.1
