Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1579.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Throckmorton and Elizabeth Berkeley.1 He married, firstly, Cicely Baynham, daughter of Thomas Baynham and Mary Winter.1 He married, secondly, Alice Morgan.1 He married, thirdly, Sarah Hall.1 He died on 18 July 1628.1 He was buried on 20 July 1628 at Newland, Gloucestershire, England.1
Sir William Throckmorton, 1st Bt. was invested as a Knight.1 He was created 1st Baronet Throckmorton, of Tortworth, co. Gloucester [England] on 29 June 1611.1
