     Richard Kingsmill was born circa 1528.2 He was the son of Sir John Kingsmill and Constance Goring.2 He married, firstly, Alice Fauconer, daughter of Richard Fauconer.2 He married Elizabeth Woodroffe, daughter of David Woodroffe, on 13 October 1574.3 He died on 24 September 1600 at Highclere, Hampshire, England.2
     He lived at High Clere, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Calne in 1559.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Heytesbury in 1563.2 He was attorney of the Court of Wards in 1573.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire in 1584.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire in 1586.2

     Elizabeth Cock was the daughter of Sir Henry Cock and Ursula Bury.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Robert West before 1593.2 She married, thirdly, Sir Richard Lucy, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Lucy and Constance Kingsmill, after 28 May 1616.1 She married, secondly, Sir Robert Oxenbridge after 8 June 1594.3 She died in 1645.1
     From before 1593, her married name became West.4 From after 8 June 1594, her married name became Oxenbridge.3 From after 28 May 1616, her married name became Lucy.1
