     Sir Thomas Wyatt was born in 1521.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Wyatt.2 He married Jane Haute, daughter of Sir William Haute and Mary Guildford, in 1537.2 He died on 11 April 1554, executed for high treason.2
     He lived at Allington Castle, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Sir Roger Twysden, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 August 1597.1 He was the son of Sir William Twysden, 1st Bt. and Lady Anne Finch.1 He married Isabella Saunders, daughter of Sir Nicholas Saunders, on 1 June 1620 at Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 27 June 1672 at age 74.1 He was buried at East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 2 February 1602/3.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea from 1625 to 1626.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Twysden, of East Peckham, co. Kent [E., 1611] on 8 January 1627/28.1 He assisted John Philipot in his Survey of Kent.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent between April 1640 and May 1640.1 He was imprisoned for seven years as a Royalist.1 He wrote the book Decem Scriptores, editor.2 He lived at Roydon Hall, East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Isabella Saunders was born circa 1604.1 She was the daughter of Sir Nicholas Saunders.1 She married Sir Roger Twysden, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Twysden, 1st Bt. and Lady Anne Finch, on 1 June 1620 at Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 11 March 1656/57.1 She was buried at East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.
     From 1 June 1620, her married name became Twysden.1 Collins described her as "a lady of rare patience and prudence in struggling through many troubles and hardships, in assisting her hsband in his long imprisonment."1

     Sir Thomas Twisden, 1st Bt. was born on 8 January 1601/2 at Roydon Hall, East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir William Twysden, 1st Bt. and Lady Anne Finch.1 He married Jane Thomlinson, daughter of John Thomlinson, on 26 December 1639.2,3 He died on 2 January 1682/83 at age 80.2 He was buried at East Malling, Kent, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) in June 1683.2
     He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1618.2 He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He was a practising Barrister in 1625.2 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1646.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between January 1647 and December 1648.2 He was a practising Serjeant-at-Law in 1654.2 He was a practising King's Serjeant in 1660.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone in 1660.2 He was appointed Knight on 2 July 1660.2 He held the office of Justice of the Court of the King's Bench from 22 July 1660 to 1683.2 He was created 1st Baronet Twisden, of Bradbourne, Kent [England] on 13 June 1666.2 He lived at Bradbourne, Kent, EnglandG.2

     Sir William Twysden, 3rd Bt. was born in 1635.1 He was the son of Sir Roger Twysden, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Saunders.1 He and Frances Cross obtained a marriage license on 8 June 1665.1 He died on 27 November 1697 at London, EnglandG.1 He was buried at East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Twysden, of East Peckham, co. Kent [E., 1611] on 27 June 1672.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent between 1685 and 1687.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby between 1695 and 1697.1 He lived at Roydon Hall, East Peckham, Kent, EnglandG.1 He had two other sons.2

     Frances Cross was born circa 1649.1 She was the daughter of Josiah Cross and Frances (?)1 She and Sir William Twysden, 3rd Bt. obtained a marriage license on 8 June 1665.1 She died before August 1731.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in August 1731.1
     From 8 June 1665, her married name became Twysden.1
