     Standish Thomas O'Grady was born on 6 September 1811.2 He was the son of Thomas O'Grady and Eleanor Dring.2 He married Thomasina O'Grady, daughter of Gerald de Courcy O'Grady and Anne Wise, in May 1843.1 He died on 13 September 1876 at age 65.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.2 He lived at Landscape, County Clare, Ireland.1
