     Reverend Edward Stewart was born on 9 October 1808.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Richard Stewart and Katherine Charteris.2 He married Louisa Anne Herbert, daughter of C. J. Herbert, on 27 February 1838.1 He died on 21 March 1875 at age 66.1
     Reverend Edward Stewart graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector at Lainston, Hampshire, England.1 He was the Vicar at Sparsholt, Hampshire, England.1

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Stewart was born on 30 June 1843.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Stewart and Louisa Anne Herbert.2 He married Georgina Janet Stirling, daughter of Admiral Sir James Stirling, on 19 December 1877.1 He died on 16 February 1885 at age 41 at Egypt, killed in action.1
     Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Stewart was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He fought in the Battle of Metammeh on 16 February 1885.1 He was nominated to be a He had another son who died young.1

Sir Herbert Stewart, son of Reverend Edward Stewart and Louisa Anne Herbert, on 19 December 1877.1 She died on 4 April 1910.1

     Captain Geoffrey Stewart was born on 28 October 1878.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Herbert Stewart and Georgina Janet Stirling.2 He married Violet Watson, daughter of William Clarence Watson, on 2 June 1908.1 He died on 22 December 1914 at age 36, killed in action.1
