     Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 2nd Bt. is the son of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 1st Bt. and Isabel Torphichena.2 He married Helenmor Stewart, daughter of Hon. Robert Stewart and Elizabeth Dunbar.1 He married Hellenor Stewart, daughter of Hon. Robert Stewart, on 18 February 1691.3
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Kirkpatrick, of Closeburn. In 1702 married 2nd Isabel, eldest daughter of Sir William Lockhart of Carstairs, Bt, by Lady Isabel Douglas, sister of 1st Duke of Queensberry (see QUEENSBERRY, M), and by her had, with other issue.3
