     Reverend Michael de Courcy was born on 6 October 1787.1 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Michael de Courcy and Anne Blennerhassett.2 He married, firstly, Emily Smyth, daughter of William Smyth, on 20 November 1818.1 He married, secondly, Mary Anne Baigrie, daughter of Robert Baigrie, on 7 October 1833.1 He died on 15 May 1860 at age 72.1
     Reverend Michael de Courcy graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He was the Rector at Drumcree, County Westmeath, Ireland.1

     Michael William de Courcy, 25th Lord Kingsale was born on 29 September 1822.3 He was the son of Reverend Michael de Courcy and Emily Smyth.2 He married, firstly, Esther Eleanor Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams, on 26 May 1852.3 He married, secondly, Jessie Maud Polwhele, daughter of Reverend Edward Polwhele, on 16 July 1874.3 He died on 16 November 1895 at age 73.3
     Michael William de Courcy, 25th Lord Kingsale held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3 He succeeded to the title of 25th Lord Kingsale [I., c. 1340] on 20 November 1890.1
