     Jane Hewett was the daughter of James Hewett.2 She married Edward Dyer, son of Thomas Dyer and Mary Smith, on 10 October 1801.1 She died on 1 April 1861.1
     From 10 October 1801, her married name became Dyer.

     Edward Dyer was born on 5 December 1802.1 He was the son of Edward Dyer and Jane Hewett.2 He married Penelope Jane Boydell, daughter of Colonel John North Boydell, on 5 February 1824.1 He died on 29 April 1886 at age 83.1
     Edward Dyer gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Madras Army.1
