     Benjamin Smith was the son of Richard Smith and Elizabeth (?)2 He married Charlotte Turner, daughter of Nicholas Turner, on 23 February 1765.1 He died in 1806.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire in 1777.1 He lived at Lys, Hampshire, England.1

     Nicholas James Hodgkinson was born on 5 November 2002 at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2 He is the son of Lance Vincent Hodgkinson and Lady Emma Louise Eveleen Montagu.1
     He was He obtained the rank of a duke's younger son as aresult of this adoption. This was possible through an Earl Marshal's Warrant dated 30 April 2004, which decreed that the adopted children of peers should be accorded the styles and courtesy titles of natural children of a peer. in 2014.3

     From before 1768, her married name became Berney.2 From 20 November 1768, her married name became Dyer.
