     Lt.-Col. Thomas Onslow Winnington-Ingram was born on 16 March 1816.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Winnington-Ingram and Jane Onslow.2 He married Jessie Maria Parsons, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Whitehill Parsons, on 8 April 1847.1 He died on 14 March 1858 at age 41.1
     Lt.-Col. Thomas Onslow Winnington-Ingram was decorated with the award of Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 97th Foot.1
