     Major Edward John Winnington-Ingram was born on 30 August 1849.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Onslow Winnington-Ingram and Jessie Maria Parsons.2 He married Jessie Edmondstone, daughter of Sir William Edmondstone, 4th Bt., on 3 June 1884.1 He died on 5 August 1892 at age 42, without surviving issue.1
     Major Edward John Winnington-Ingram gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.1
