     Major Philip Dugald Glover was born on 26 November 1801 at Barnstaple, Devon, England.1 He was the son of Lieutenant Philip Glover and Launce Campbell.1 He died on 12 August 1876 at age 74, unmarried.1
     Major Philip Dugald Glover gained the rank of Major in the service of the 12th Native Infantry Regiment.1

     Lt.-Col. Leopold James Henry Grey was born on 6 January 1847.1 He was the son of Sir William Grey and Margaret Hungerford Jackson.2 He married Clara Vener, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Vener, on 10 June 1871.1 He died on 5 July 1891 at age 44.1
     Lt.-Col. Leopold James Henry Grey gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Bengal Staff Corps.1
