     Sir William Eden, 6th Bt. was born on 31 January 1803 at West Auckland, County Durham, England. He was the son of Sir Frederick Morton Eden, 2nd Bt. and Anne Smith. He married Elfrida Susanna Harriet Iremonger, daughter of Colonel William Iremonger and Pennant Thomas, on 23 April 1844 at Andover, Hampshire, England. He died on 21 October 1873 at age 70.
     Sir William Eden, 6th Bt. gained the title of 4th Baronet Eden, of Maryland. He gained the title of 6th Baronet Eden, of West Auckland.

     Sybil Frances Grey was the daughter of Sir William Grey and Georgina Chicheley Plowden.2,3 She married Sir William Eden, 7th Bt., son of Sir William Eden, 6th Bt. and Elfrida Susanna Harriet Iremonger, on 20 July 1886.1 She died on 17 June 1945.1
     Her married name became Eden. She was invested as a Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).1 She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Sir William Grey was born on 26 March 1818.3 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Edward Grey and Charlotte Elizabeth Croft.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Hungerford Jackson, daughter of Welby Jackson, on 8 July 1845.2 He married, secondly, Georgina Chicheley Plowden, daughter of T. Chicheley Plowden, on 26 January 1865.3 He died on 15 May 1878 at age 60.3
     Sir William Grey held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal.3 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.).1 He held the office of Governor of Jamaica.3
