     Carl Alexander Friedrich Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff was born on 11 August 1818 at Eickhoff bei Liebenau.1 He was the son of Johann Clamor Hilmar Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff and Julie Therese Elisabeth von Hasberg.1 He married, firstly, Rosa von Szabó de Sepsi-Szant-György, daughter of Ludwig von Szabó de Sepsi-Szant-György and Marie Balogh, on 4 June 1850.1 He married, secondly, Irma Garger, daughter of Vitus Garger and Pauline Udvardy de Udvardy, on 2 March 1867 at Keszthely, Hungary.1 He died on 11 March 1886 at age 67.1

     Rosa von Szabó de Sepsi-Szant-György was born on 14 October 1833 at Aranyos-Megyes.1 She was the daughter of Ludwig von Szabó de Sepsi-Szant-György and Marie Balogh.1 She married Carl Alexander Friedrich Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff, son of Johann Clamor Hilmar Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff and Julie Therese Elisabeth von Hasberg, on 4 June 1850.1 She died on 13 May 1861 at age 27 at Szollos-Veg-Ardo.1
     From 4 June 1850, her married name became von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff.1
