     Mary Ramsay Stewart-Richardson was born on 1 August 1869.1 She was the daughter of Sir James Thomas Stewart-Richardson of Pitfour, 14th Bt. and Harriett Georgina Alice Cochrane.2 She died on 23 May 1960 at age 90, unmarried.1
     Mary Ramsay Stewart-Richardson was with Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nurisng Service during the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 She was registered as a Associate, Royal Red Cross (A.R.R.C.) in 1915.1 She was decorated with the award of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium medal.1

     From 29 January 1903, her married name became Richardson-Drummond-Hay.
